Gift Campaign - Terms and Conditions

• This offer is applicable only to the select UAE Mashreq Credit Card Holders who have received specific communication to this effect. This offer is not transferable to any other party.
• The Cardholders should register for this program by sending SMS to 4250. Card Holders who do not register for the program will not be eligible for any of the promotional gifts offered. The last date for registration is March 31 2010.
• The offer is valid for transactions made and posted during the period of February 1, 2010 to July 31, 2010. All purchases on any of the Mashreq credit cards, including supplementary cards shall be considered for eligibility.
• Mashreq will notify the Card Holder that qualifies for the promotional gifts during the month of September, 2010. The winning Card Holder’s name will also be announced at Mashreq’s website: www.mashreqbank.com/cards.
• The winning Card Holder should claim the promotional gift within a maximum of 30 days from the date of announcement or notification. In the event that the winning Card Holder did not claim the promotional gift during the aforesaid grace period, the promotional gift shall be withdrawn and shall be the exclusive property of Mashreq.
• In order to ensure all communications related to this promotional campain and for all other services, the Card Holder should ensure that the correct and up to date contact information is provided to and registered with Mashreq.
• The Card Holder’s eligibility in the promotional campaign shall depend on the good standing of the Card Holder’s credit card account with Mashreq during the period of the promotional campaign and during the period within which the Card Holder is able to claim the promotional gift. Accordingly, the credit card should not be blocked, there should not be any late payments to such account and that the outstanding balance of the credit card account is not over the assigned limit.
• Any illustration or imaging of the promotional gift provided on the communication materials are for illustration purpose only. Mashreq reserves the right to substitute and/or change the gifts without any prior notice to the Card Holders. No substitutions or exchange of the promotional gift shall be allowed.
• The Gold Coins that customer can get in this promotion are of 22 karat.
• Holiday packages can be redeemed for travel during the period of September 15, 2010 to March 31, 2011 and will not be valid for travel during festive periods, EID holidays, peak dates and events. Booking will need to be made at least a month in advance. If the Card Holder wants to make any modifications (destination/Hotel/Airlines/duration of stay) in the package offered the difference in pricing shall be borne by the Card Holder.
• Gift voucher from Rivoli Group can be redeemed at select Rivoli, Montblanc, Hour Choice, Rivoli Gifts and Rivoli Eyezone outlets at retail prices for any items. This voucher cannot be combined with any other offer/promotion and the total value of the voucher is to be used in one cash memo.
• Mashreq Millionaire certificate purchase, disputed transaction, reversals, and refunds will not be counted for the minimum spends requirement for the gift.
• Mashreq reserves the right at any time to add modify or vary all or any of these terms and conditions which will be updated on Mashreq’s website at www.mashreqbank.com/cards.
• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
• In no event shall Mashreqbank, any of its affiliates, or any of its officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any loss, damage ore expense arising out of or otherwise related to this promotional offer.
• Mashreqbank does not offer or provide any warranties, or accept any responsibility or liability of any kind in respect of this promotional offer and hereby disclaims any and all express or implied warranties with respect of the same.
• Mashreqbank shall not be in breach of its obligations or otherwise be liable to conduct this promotional campaign, continue to offer this promotional campaign, or award any promotional gift pursuant to this campaign, or be liable to any Card Holder as a result of any Force Majeure Event. A Force Majeure Event in these terms and conditions, shall mean circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Mashreq including amongst other things, acts of God, industrial disputes, acts and regulations of any governmental or authority in any jurisdiction. In such circumstances, Mashreqbank’s obligations to its Cardholder shall automatically stand discharged without necessity to provide notice.
