General Questions

Yes, as a non-resident you can open a Savings Account in AED and/or a Current Account in a range of popular foreign currencies with the Bank.
In addition to a valid passport, you will be required to provide a 2-month Bank Statement from the country of your residence

For Current account / Savings Account there are minimum balance charges. Please refer to the Schedule of Charges.

For account closure you must visit a Mashreq Branch and place your request. Please ensure to carry your valid Emirates I.D. or your valid Passport with residence visa page Also note that there are charges for closing an account with us. Please refer to the charges below:

Subscription of E-Statements is done through Mashreq Online. Simply login and scroll to "E-Statements" on the right-hand side of your screen.
